Carson and Ted's official sites have fan e-mail addresses set up (and they do answer). Jai can be contacted via his MySpace.

#3 Has Queer Eye been canceled?
Yes, the last episode of Queer Eye was taped in June 2006. The final ten episodes will air sometime in 2007.

#4a Don't tell me this show really takes place over one day!
Each episode of Queer Eye takes four days. The first day (Tuesday) they meet the guy and "de-straighten" him (not literally), the second day shopping, the third day they prepare him for his event, which happens on the Friday. The reveal - the Fab Five watching the event - is taped later. The home makeover takes two and a half days.

#5b Then why do they say it takes one day?
They say it takes "one gay day." It's sort of a in-joke.

#6 Who pays for everything?
Scout has a budget for each show, plus a lot of things you see are donated by the company for the publicity they will receive.

#7 How can I be on the show?
Queer Eye is no longer being made, so you cannot apply to be on the show.

#8 Do they really do the cleaning? Does Thom really do all that decorating himself?
Thom has a small team to help him. But yes, he really is involved in the decorating. They don't really clean the dirty houses, though.

#9 What the hell is 'tszuj'?
Pronounced "joosh," tszuj means to "finesse, tweak, rearrange and make better." It's a word Carson picked up working for Ralph Lauren.

#10 Who are the Fab Five?
The Fab Five are: Carson Kressley - Fashion, Kyan Douglas - Grooming, Thom Filicia - Interior Design, Ted Allen - Food and Wine and Jai Rodriguez - Culture.
